People Share the Things They Think Earlier Generations Did Right

Boomers have never been shy in blaming young people for all the many ills of the world, and Millennials and Gen Z clap back with a fervor. There's no denying that many of the problems faced by those under a certain age were kickstarted by their parents, and it's easy to get into the feedback loop of mutual resentment.

At the same time, the older generation are who we have learned from, and who (in theory) have some wisdom to share with us by virtue of having lived longer. Not everything done by those who came before us was a travesty, as a thread started by @0luwatt0bi has made clear. Asking people what things they thought the older generation had done better than us, Twitter users came up with a range of answers that are almost enough to make you want to go back to the so-called good old days. Those postwar benefits were really something.
